Hardware Specifications
Defender and Stargate used the original hardware.

Hardware Revisions
Later games used a chip commonly referred to as the Special Chip (SC-01) for the video output. A revised version of the Special Chip (SC-02) was made due to the first having a bug. Games known to use the revised version of the Special Chip were Splat!, Blaster, Mystic Marathon and Joust 2.
