Bot

Yes, TyagiBot is a bit behind :-) I've been away for about 3 weeks with work. I'm now back and will get to it at the start of next week. -- tyagi 21:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

TyagBot has been fixed and run on the latest Games to be Added. It's also now adding Amazon Affiliate items for those titles it finds on Amazon. -- tyagi 09:52, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
I noticed that there are some 'coverreplace' items from the bot run earlier this week. I will verify that the bot isn't fetching US covers as opposed to UK/EU covers. It's possible that this has happened in the code changes I've made, but is unlikely. -- tyagi 21:12, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Would it be useful for TyagiBot to automatically select media type based on the platform, and complete the gameinfobox? -- tyagi 19:32, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
    • For some formats, yes. For the PS2 we need to differentiate between CD and DVD, and so on. But it'll always be a SNES cartridge. Maybe we should differentiate the Codemasters J-Cart and the EA Mega Drive carts as well. Xevious 21:03, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Just snooping in on the conversation. :D We could extend the media column to include sub-media, such as size/type of carts in a similar manner to the way we have the os parameter for PC & Arcade platforms. The bot could be kept simple in that regard & the specifics added later. For the CD/DVD issue, the bot could put Optical instead - it's an obvious sign that it needs updating & it's logically correct. --Barthax 15:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Its and It's

OK, you got me. :D I was always taught that if something belonged to the preceeding identity, the apostrophe was required... Hence it's lifecycle. Do you have a reference I can learn the proper way? :D --Barthax 09:59, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Chronology

Help:Chronology is looking good. :) Probably better explained that I could have, too. :D --Barthax 13:27, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello from Wikipedia

Hey there,

I'm not sure if you may have noticed, but I took your suggestions into consideration and decided to split the list. The Comparison of Wii games that exists on Wikipedia has been reformatted as you had suggested. The Number of Players column and Controllers column have been combined with a 'Genre' column, ESRB/PEGI/CERO ratings, as well as the Aggregate review score from GameRankings (if available) to create the Comparison of Wii games on GamerWiki. It's currently a work in process as I'm converting the table from what it was before, and so any help I can get would be great.

I can't say that I'll continue to contribute to GamerWiki once the Comparison of Wii Games chart is finished, but all the best with this site nonetheless. (Don't worry, I'm planning on leaving Wikipedia as well--I wanted to improve the format of the List of Wii games, and I feel that I'm close to accomplishing that.) Versus22

I did some work on the contests of the Mii Contest Channel (Wii) article (on the external link section). If you have any questions reply on my talk page here or on Wikipedia (same user name). Versus22 18:09, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

I said in the discussion from Wikipedia that the Everybody Votes Channel (Wii) is already made. The poll questions are in the Everybody's Nintendo Channel (Wii) by mistake. You view videos & download DS demos on ENC. Can you fix this? Versus22 15:26, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Xevious for fixing the link! This website is hardly updated regularly unlike Wikipedia. It would be nice if there were more users on GamerWiki, it's kind of empty. Versus22 05:17, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
