Description
Story
Gameplay
Teddy Boy is the an example of simplicity over depth. The player quickly discovers that one button makes the character jump and the other button shoots, running into big moving things is bad and running into small things is good. However, the most striking thing that hits you is something so simple yet so captivating. You attempt a jump from one platform to another, fail, and wait for the impending doom associated with such a foolish error in true 8 bit platform style.
Immediately the world rushes upwards as you land quite safely on the bit of platform that was just at the top of the screen. Never again will you fear the fall of doom, more embrace is as a method of speedy movement. That is the essence of this game. Shoot stuff, collect it, and all before the multi-coloured bar at the top of the screen runs out. It's no more complicted than that.
'Teddy Boy' follows in the vein of other puzzle games, wherein the simpliciy of its gameplay and graphical style, make it an addictive, "pick-up-and-play" title.
