Trivia
Although essentially the same game, there are some differences between Streets of Rage 3 and its Japanese equivalent Bare Knuckle III.
The game difficulty is harder in SOR3 and the characters are different colours, many characters also have name changes and different sound effects. There are also some costume changes for some characters, with the female enemies wearing more clothing in western versions
A sub boss from the original Bare Knuckle 3 called Ash was removed from Streets of Rage 3 due to his appearance which looked like a stereotypical Homosexual. Ash is playable with a cheat in BK3.
