Sony PlayStation Portable
The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) launched in:
- Japan on 2nd December 2004 with a retail price of Basic Pack - ¥19,800, Value Pack - ¥24,800.
- United States on 24th March 2005 with a retail price of $249 USD (Value pack only).
- Europe on 1st September 2005 with a retail price of £179.99 GBP/€249 euros (Value pack only).
Basic Pack Contents: Battery pack and universal AC adapter. Value Pack Contents: 32MB Memory Stick Duo, headphones with remote control, battery pack, AC adaptor, soft case, and cleaning cloth. In the USA the first one million people to purchase a PSP in the US received a bonus UMD of the film Spider-Man 2. In Europe a number of early PSP purchasers will be able to claim the Spiderman 2 UMD by registering at www.yourpsp.com
