Description
Sonic R is a racing game featuring the cast of the Sonic the Hedgehog platform games. While the game includes a platform- feel to it, it remains very much a racing game, with the objecting being to beat your opponents over the finish line.
Story
Doctor Robotnik has learnt where the chaos emeralds are. Again. He sets a trap to ensnare Sonic. Again. This trap is a running race, which Sonic must win in order to not be trapped.
Again.
Gameplay
The game is a simple into-the-screen racer.

- The game can be used with the Saturn's analogue '3D controller', but on the PC it requires digital input.
