Description

Metroid Fusion is subtitled "Metroid IV" within the opening screens of the game, and is therefore a direct follow-up to Super Metroid (SNES). As with its prequels, Metroid Fusion is a side-on platformer, with its hero(ine) Samus Aran exploring a futuristic scenario looking for upgrades to her space suit to enable her to defeat ever more deadly enemies.

Story

After battling the space pirates on Zebes, Samus is infected by an X organism. In order to cure herself of this, and to prevent further infections, Samus goes to destroy the X.

Gameplay

Players begin the game with few powers, and must find upgrades as they progress through the game.
