A Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (better known as the acronym MMORPG) is a role-playing game, normally exclusively played online, with masses of multiple players able to interact with one another. Typically, these games require a monthly subscription fee to play.
Examples of these sorts of games include Everquest (PC), Worlds of Warcraft (PC) and Ultima Online (PC).
