The Tracks
All but three (Côte d'Azur, Super Speedway and Test Course) of the tracks can be raced in reverse.
Apricot Hill Raceway

Complex String
As the name suggests, Complex String embodies a suite of complex track layouts strung together to form a monstrously difficult track to master. The driver begins the lap on a lengthy straight which culminates in a sharp right-hand bend with a sand trap in front of a tire wall for the late breaking drivers. Another straight lulls the driver into a false sense of deja vu before a flowing repetition of s-bends snaps the unwary from their slumber. Out of the s-bends and another sharp corner must be navigated, this time to the left, before the driver enters the boxes: a series of 90° turns.
Exiting the boxes takes the driver onto another short straight before a seemingly steady left-hander which rapidly becomes sharper. The now-familiar long straight appears this time with no sub-section but ending with another sharp right-hander and another short straight. Not only is the next corner sharp but it's one of the sharpest in the game and so begins a swinging action throwing the car right then left in ever increasing half-circles.
Drivers coming out of the last half-circle are greeted with a luxurious straight to continue their speed and only need slow marginally to enter the next obstacle course: another suite, this time of undulating turns. Hit the rise of the hill too fast and your car will loose grip easily and be sent head-long into a sand trap with tire wall.
Coming out of the undulations but still with a significant distance to go, the driver is nearing the end of this tortuous track. Another sharp left and straight appear before a medium-speed right-hander gives the driver another opportunity for speed. The track lays straight for some time before the next obstacle: a short sharp s-bend. Alas, the game allows the driver to simply skip over in a straight line before continuing on to a steady but fast right-hander and back onto the main, long, home straight.
Côte d'Azur
In a side-step to the FIA ownership of the name, this track is blatantly based on the Monaco Grand Prix circuit. However, as the FIA only own the name of the circuit and so the player gets to celebrate this fascinating track in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec anyway.Deep Forest Raceway
