Description

Dancing Stage: Mario Mix is a joint venture between Konami and Nintendo, to release a dancing game on Nintendo's GameCube.

Story

All the music in the mushroom kingdom has been stolen. Mario must dance his way to retrieve it.

Gameplay

Gameplay is standard Dance Dance Revolution and Dancing Stage fare. At the top on one side of the screen there are four outlines of arrows (representing left, up, down and right). White arrows scroll up the screen, and as they reach the inside of the outline, the player must step on the corresponding button on the dance mat.

Extra minigames

As well as the standard Dancing Stage game, there are a number of minigames, including a "whack-a-mole" variant.
