Story
Nintendo of America had little marketting value outside of the US. They did, however, know they had a hit on their hands and so licenced the production of a Donkey Kong clone to Falcon.
Gameplay
The order of the levels differs from that of the Donkey Kong original. The individual levels, however, play very similarly.

Bootlegs
By Jeutel. Mainly a title-tune change and the obvious lack of Falcon being displayed on the title scene. | By Alca. No second-title screen and the Part II is dropped. (Colour changes may be due to a missing detail in the emulation). | By Orca. As with the Alca bootleg, there is no second-title screen and the Part II is dropped. The cabinet for this bootleg bore the title Congorilla and the pinouts were the exact opposite of the original Crazy Kong Part II. |
Image:Big Kong (Arcade) Title.png By unknown. Details unknown currently. | By unknown. A modified version to run on Konami Scramble hardware. As with the Alca & Orce bootlegs, this also has no second-title screen and the Part II removed. The Girders level suggests a combined bootleg with portions taken from Donkey Kong. |
Emulation
Known to be emulated in MAME since version 0.2.
