Description
Burnin' Rubber was bundled with the Amstrad GX4000 console and the Amstrad Plus computers. It is a typical arcade 8-bit racing game, with objectives being defined as reaching checkpoints and avoiding other cars.
Story
You drive a generic red sports car, and must reach the end of each stage before the timer runs out.
Gameplay
While looking very similar to 8-bit conversions of OutRun and Lotus Turbo Challenge, the handling dynamic of Burnin' Rubber is a massive improvement. Designed specifically to be played with the GX4000 joypad, the car responds well on screen.
