Description of Company

Action Forms is a small game developer company located in Kiev, Ukraine, and best known for its Carnivores series of games.

History

  • Apr. 4, 1995: Action Forms is first formed by four enthusiasts in Kiev, Ukraine
  • Sept. 29, 1999: New website is up (action-forms.com one)
  • Oct. 6, 1999: Carnivores 2 goes gold
  • Apr. 4, 2000: Action Forms's 5th anniversary
  • Jan. 12, 2001: Carnivores Ice Age goes gold
  • Dec. 27, 2001: Development of Vivisector: Creatures of Dr. Moreau (later changed to Vivisector: Beast Within) announced, Vivisector website announced
  • Nov. 22, 2004: "All Action Forms workers are on Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti) now. We`re going to protect our president Victor Yushenko and our right to live in free democratic country."
  • Apr. 4, 2005: Action Forms's 10th anniversary
  • Sept. 16, 2005: Vivisector: Beast Within (Russian version) goes gold
  • May 1, 2006: Development of Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason announced
  • May 3, 2006: Source of Carnivores 2 and Carnivores Ice Age released to a few fans under a non-disclosure agreement, release of source to the public domain considered. Source had been previously released to one fan, Alacn; however, a date is not known, so this is the one provided.
